“Behold!
I (Jesus Christ) have given you authority and power to trample upon
serpents and scorpions, and [physical and mental strength and ability] over all
the power that the enemy [possesses]; and nothing shall in any way harm you.”
Dear people of God, the devil, though a creation of God Almighty
as the Arch Angel Lucifer (bearer of light) existed with other angels before
humans were created.
It was the devil’s rebellion along with a third of the angels
against their Creator God Almighty and Father of my Saviour and Lord Jesus
Christ that made God expel them out of heaven – Revelation 12:7-9.
Since then, the devil came into the world and succeeded in
deceiving man into sinning against God and took over the dominion God gave to
man.
However, the Lord Jesus Christ, God’s only begotten Son, came
into this world to redeem mankind from the damage the devil inflicted at the
beginning and gave victory back to mankind.
Jesus Christ also restored back to mankind the dominion God gave
them at the beginning. This victory of the Lord Jesus Christ over the devil
came with full authority in His Name over ALL works of the devil.
Being fully aware of this fact, the devil has made every
Christian his number one enemy because the Christian is the only human with
total authority over the devil provided that authority is exercised in the Name
of the Lord Jesus Christ.
This is evidenced in today’s lead Holy Bible text above.
Unfortunately, several Christians today are not even aware of
this complete authority Jesus Christ has given them over the devil so rather
than exercise this authority in His Name over the devil and all his agents
(demons and humans), they keep praying to Jesus Christ to do something for them
against the devil.
Consequently, the devil continues to take advantage of all such
ignorant Christians, which is why you see Christians today having difficulties
and it does appear as if God has failed to help them.
Dear friend, God helped us at Calvary. You are to take hold of
this help in the Name of Jesus Christ to enforce your victory in Christ Jesus.
Then worship and praise God for all He has done for you.
Most importantly, having tried it out and obtained and enforced
the victory as proof of what Jesus Christ has done for you, don’t keep it to
yourself but go all out in Evangelism and proclaim to others with your life as
evidence the Gospel of Jesus Christ and what belongs to all His children.
Stop whining about the devil and his troubles in your life.
Rather, proclaim Jesus Christ and His Word in the Holy Bible loudly over the
rooftops and everywhere because Jesus Christ loves you with an everlasting
love.
Ensure you are living a genuine Christian life of Holiness,
Righteousness and Truth in obedience to Christ as the only assurance of all
round victory in this world and entry into heaven when you depart.
Living otherwise in sinful hypocrisy whilst professing Christ
exposes you to grave danger and be sure that the devil will take you out and
you would certainly end up in an eternal damnation in HELL.
Jesus Christ is coming shortly to take away only His qualified
children in Rapture. Are you His child? Are you ready for Him?
Come to Jesus Christ today and now, for tomorrow or later may be
too late for you.

His Word today, act on it and share with others in Jesus’ Most Holy Name, Amen.
