A WARNING TO OPPRESSORS OF WIDOWS AND FATHERLESS CHILDREN

Exodus 22:22-24 (AMPC)
“You shall not afflict any widow or fatherless child.
 
23 If you afflict them in any way and they cry at all to Me, I will surely hear their cry;
 
24 And My wrath shall burn; I will kill you with the sword, and your wives shall be widows and your children fatherless.”
 
Dear people of God, the Nigerian public sector at every level from leadership to the workers at the lowest echelon is filled with individuals of seared or dead consciences who do not care about a person’s condition but are willing to profit even from someone’s tragedy.
 
Why do I state this?
 
On Friday November 12, 2021, I escorted an in-law who was recently bereaved of her spouse to an office to process her late husband’s pension funds contribution.
 
What I heard there was very irritating to say the least.
 
The officer handling the task took his time to explain to us about the legalized corruption ongoing at the National Pension Commission (PENCOM) and National Insurance Commission (NAICOM) by the officers in charge of processing pension contributions to beneficiaries of deceased contributors.
 
He stated that between these two regulatory agencies of the government, you must part with between 5% and 10% of your deceased’s pension funds otherwise the officers in charge would frustrate you and there have been many cases where families abandoned the process and the funds.
 
What kind of consciences do these people have?
 
Thanks be to God Almighty, the final Judge of all things, Who has made very clear in today’s main Holy Bible text above the fate of people who in anyway oppress or afflict widows and fatherless children should these afflicted souls cry out to Him for justice.
 
This is a warning not just to the wicked souls working at these regulatory agencies but it is also a warning to all political office holders and their stooges in various arms and agencies of government whose lust and love of money has blinded them to the need to do their work with the fear of God whilst dealing with all members of the public they have sworn to serve.
 
It is also a warning to all family members and relatives of deceased persons, especially men and women who oppress and afflict the widows and children of their late brother, making them go through harrowing and ungodly experiences.
 
Sometimes they throw them out of their legitimate home built by the deceased, taking over all properties of the deceased without caring a hoot about the welfare and well-being of the spouse and kids.
 
Do you think God does not see these demonic acts? Is death not the pre-determined destiny of all humans on this earth? Who then amongst these evil men and women could escape the Righteous Judge of the Universe who is patient and long suffering with sinners BUT would never allow the guilty to go unpunished? – Exodus 34:6-7; Numbers 14:18.
 
If you are reading this message and you are an oppressor of widows, fatherless or orphaned children, the time to repent is today and now and then cry out to God for mercy and forgiveness before it is too late for you.
 
Thereafter, go to the person(s) you have oppressed, apologise to them and make all necessary restitution including returning their husband or father’s properties you have wrongfully stolen.
 
If you know someone who is guilty of this ungodly practice, send this message to the person to help him or her repent and amend his or her ways before it is too late.
 
A Word is enough for the wise.
 
Jesus’ coming for His children in the Rapture is imminent. Are you His child or are you born again? Are you ready for Him?
 
Come to Jesus Christ the Word of God today and now, for tomorrow or later may be too late for you.
 
May the good Lord bless you as you heed His Word today, act on it and share with others in Jesus’ Merciful Name, Amen.
