THE UNCOMPROMISINGLY RIGHTEOUS

Psalm 37:25-26 (AMPC)
I have been young and now am old, yet have I not seen the [UNCOMPROMISINGLY] righteous forsaken or their seed begging bread.

26 All day long they are merciful and deal graciously; they lend, and their offspring are blessed.”

Dear people of God, today’s lead Holy Bible text tells us that God does not forsake the UNCOMPROMISINGLY righteous, neither does his seed beg bread.

To be uncompromising means unyielding in making concessions or unyielding in changing your stance on a matter.

In the context of God’s Word, to be uncompromising means spiritual maturity evidenced by refusal to say anything or engage in any act that offends God or that goes contrary to His Word.

Unfortunately, to live an uncompromising life is one thing that is very difficult for a number of today’s Christians.

It appears even more challenging when you live in a nation where many are engaged in lawless acts on a daily basis.

One thing that I must make clear however, is that God is also uncompromising in His standard of righteousness so don’t ever expect Him to lower His standard to accommodate your deliberate sins.

There is a difference between one who sins habitually and deliberately and one who sins out of omission or in ignorance. According to God’s Word in 1 John 3:8, the habitual or deliberate sinner is a child of the devil.

What of the one who sins inadvertently or by omission? Certainly, God would not lower His standard of righteousness for such individual and so the person in prayer must ask God for forgiveness daily for sins committed inadvertently and to reveal such sins so he or she can desist from such immediately.

Such individual must study his or her Holy Bible daily so God can speak through his or her spirit to make amends before it is too late.

Such is the high standard God expects of us as His children that the Lord Jesus Christ says in Matthew 5:48 (AMPC), You, therefore, must be perfect [growing into complete maturity of godliness in mind and character, having reached the proper height of virtue and integrity], as your heavenly Father is perfect.”

So there is no excuse for sin as we often hear some ignorant Christians claim that nobody is perfect.

God would not expect anything of you that He knows you are not able to attain. If He has called you to be perfect, then He knows you can achieve it and so ask for His help on this and ensure to know His righteous demands from His Word through your study and obedience in every area of your life.

Take note that it is only God’s Word rooted or implanted in a person’s soul (mind, will and emotion) through study and meditation that contains the power to change a person as stated in James 1:21.

Dear friend, do you profess Christianity and still:

(1)  Falsify records for your advantage?
(2)  Cheat during examinations whether in school or office?
(3)  Bypass your electricity meter at home and place high energy consuming gadgets (air conditioners, electric cookers, etc) on the bypassed line to avoid paying the tariff?
(4)  Watch videos and read literature containing pornography in your privacy when no one is there with you?
(5)  Resume official work and close whenever you like?
(6)  Stay back from work and tell lies to excuse yourself?
(7)  Steal church funds to solve your personal problems?
(8)  Accept your employer’s request to falsify statutory reports just to retain your job?
(9)  Accept your supervisor’s offer of adultery and fornication just to retain your job?
(10)                Divert your neighbourhood Estate funds to personal use?
(11)                Refuse to pay tithes and firstfruits to the Church of God for the work of the Gospel?

None of these actions show you regard or rely totally on God Almighty as your Father to provide all your needs. If you still engage in such acts, you are certainly living a compromised life so why would you expect God to fulfil His Word in Psalm 37:25 for you?

Again, take note that God would NEVER lower His standard to accommodate your wrongdoing and so you must repent immediately, raise your standard and values to match God’s standard before you expect God to fulfil His Word in your life.

If you expect to enter heaven when you live this world as a Christian, please don’t joke with this message and every other message you read on this page.

If you are not yet a Christian, dear friend, you can only enter heaven when you become a Christian and obey God’s Word in the Holy Bible uncompromisingly.

Becoming a Christian is FREE of any charge and involves you acknowledging your need for God, repenting genuinely of all sins and wrongdoing, confessing your sins to God, forsaking sins, accepting and declaring Jesus Christ as your Saviour and Lord, and living in strict and uncompromising obedience to all His commands in the Holy Bible.

Jesus’ coming for His children in the Rapture is imminent. Are you His child or are you born again? Are you ready for Him?

Come to Jesus Christ the Word of God today and now, for tomorrow or later may be too late for you.

May the good Lord bless you as you heed His Word today, act on it and share with others in Jesus’ Merciful Name, Amen.

Gabriel Ama.
