DO YOU REALLY TRUST GOD? (3)

Proverbs 4:23-27 (GNBDK)
“Be careful how you think; your life is shaped by your thoughts.
 
 24Never say anything that isn't true. Have nothing to do with lies and misleading words. 
 
25Look straight ahead with honest confidence; don't hang your head in shame. 
 
26Plan carefully what you do, and whatever you do will turn out right. 
 
27Avoid evil and walk straight ahead. Don't go one step off the right way”
 
 
Dear people of God, there are a number of people who claim to love and trust God but their love and trust of God is only on their lips.
 
Their daily actions reveal a deep ignorance of the God they claim to love and trust.
 
Today’s lead Holy Bible text tells us several things.
 
First, your thoughts shape your life. Many people don’t understand this fact but know today that every thought you think whether positive or negative is real and tangible and builds tangible results in your life.
 
This is why the Lord Jesus Christ warns that the individual who looks lustfully at another person is guilty of committing adultery (or fornication) with that person in his or her heart – Matthew 5:27-28.
 
Therefore, channel your thoughts to exactly what you want to see in your life, hold those thoughts with faith and you will definitely achieve it.
 
Second, we are warned against telling lies and saying things that are not true. God has warned us that all liars would end up in eternal damnation in the lake of fire – Revelation 21:8.
 
So, telling lies or making misleading statements to achieve an end would not help you in any way whatsoever. As a businessperson, you don’t have to tell lies as many erroneously believe. A lie is a lie so the issue of white lie or black lie or small lie or big lie does not arise because all liars offend God’s law and show they don’t trust Him to help them succeed.
 
Whether at home, in church, at work, business place, with friends, wherever you are, let it be known to everyone that you are a person of integrity who would not compromise your stand for money or whatever else.
 
Third, look straight ahead with honest confidence. The point here is that you should never engage in fraudulent activities that would require you hanging your head in shame or hiding from people. When you trust in God in thought, word and deed, you are always as bold as a lion – Proverbs 28:1b.
 
Fourth, plan carefully what you do and whatever you do will turn out right. A good number of people don’t believe in planning and believe money is all they need.
 
The Word of God says that when you plan CAREFULLY, whatever you do would turn out right. The way to start is to first commit your plan to God in prayer and allow God to direct your every step to success because as you obey Him, He would send you all the resources required to succeed.
 
Finally, avoid evil and walk straight ahead. Don’t go one step off the right way.
 
The right way as far as this life is concerned is found in complete written form in the Holy Bible. You cannot find it elsewhere. Therefore, you must study God’s Word daily and live exactly as He has prescribed for your own good and eternal wellbeing.
 
Dear friend, if you really trust God, your character must show it. You cannot serve God with your lips and live a deceitful ungodly life and claim to trust God.
 
Make up your mind today to trust God and you can be sure of success in every area of your life.
 
Jesus’ coming for His children in the Rapture is imminent. Are you His child or are you born again? Are you ready for Him?
 
Come to Jesus Christ the Word of God today and now, for tomorrow or later may be too late for you.
 
May the good Lord bless you as you heed His Word today, act on it and share with others in Jesus’ Merciful Name, Amen.
