DO YOU JOIN OTHERS TO MOCK YOUR CREATOR?

Psalm 1:1 (AMPC)
“BLESSED (HAPPY, fortunate, prosperous, and enviable) is the man who walks and lives not in the counsel of the ungodly [following their advice, their plans and purposes], nor stands [submissive and inactive] in the path where sinners walk, nor sits down [to relax and rest] where the scornful [and the mockers] gather.”
 
Dear people of God, many ignorant people commit sin by careless words they speak.
 
Some equally ignorant Christians join ignorant people to commit sin by either being silent to sinful comments or joining to laugh at sinful comments mocking their Creator Jesus Christ.
 
Sometime in February 2022, there was a conversation about the level of rot and moral decadence amongst the security agencies in Nigeria following a revelation of high- level corruption against a once celebrated police officer.
 
One ignorant non-Christian now stated that he had given up on Nigeria and that even if an angel came to rule this nation, he would be corrupt. He then took it too far when he stated that someone once said even if my Lord Jesus Christ came to rule Nigeria that He too would be corrupt.
 
Immediately I heard this offensive statement, I made it clear to this fellow that he had committed a grave sin against his Creator Jesus Christ, and he needed to repent for his own good.
 
I told him he was speaking based on what he knew and not what the Word of God stated concerning Jesus Christ.
 
I then told him what the Holy Bible says concerning Jesus Christ in Hebrews 4:15 (AMPC), “For we do not have a High Priest Who is unable to understand and sympathize and have a shared feeling with our weaknesses and infirmities and liability to the assaults of temptation, but One Who has been tempted in every respect as we are, yet without sinning.”
 
Of course, this fellow is unaware of this Scripture, which is why he made such an offensive statement against His Creator Jesus Christ, but it does not extricate him from the sin he has committed.
 
It also does not matter whether or not this fellow believes Jesus Christ is his Creator; I have made it clear to him and it is in his own interest to find out from God if what I told him is true or not.
 
Dear friend, if you belong to the school of thought who doubt Jesus Christ as your Saviour and Messiah, it does not change the fact that He is.
 
If you join others to make mocking statements against Jesus Christ, be certain that you have sinned against God and you must repent before it is too late.
 
Just in case you doubt what I have stated here, let me share a Scripture with you in Leviticus 5:17 (AMPC), “If anyone sins and does any of the things the Lord has forbidden, though he was not aware of it, yet he is guilty and shall bear his iniquity.”
 
Again, let’s see God’s Word from Jesus Christ Himself in Matthew 12:36-37 (AMPC), “But I tell you, on the day of judgment men will have to give account for every idle (inoperative, non-working) word they speak.

37 For by your words you will be justified and acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned and sentenced.
 
So do NOT say nobody warned you because by reading this message you have been warned.
 
Jesus’ coming for His children in the Rapture is imminent. Are you His child or are you born again? Are you ready for Him?
 
Come to Jesus Christ the Word of God today and now, for tomorrow or later may be too late for you.
 
May the good Lord bless you as you heed His Word today, act on it and share with others in Jesus’ Most Holy Name, Amen.
