ONLY GOD’S WORD CAN TRANSFORM A PERSON

 Proverbs 4:20-22 (AMPC)
“My son, attend to my words; consent and submit to my sayings.
 
21 Let them not depart from your sight; keep them in the center of your heart.
 
22 For they are life to those who find them, healing, and health to all their flesh.”
 
Dear people of God, the beauty of God’s Word is amazing. Every born-again Christian heard God’s Word preached, became convicted, repented of sin, and submitted to the Lordship of Jesus Christ as Saviour and Messiah.
 
God tells every one of His children in today’s lead Holy Bible text above to consent and submit to His Word, to never let His Word depart from their sight, to keep His Word in the center of their heart.
 
God goes ahead to state why His children should take to this simple instruction, which is that His Word is life to those who find them, healing and health to all their flesh.
 
This is a simple but profound statement.
 
There is nobody who pays attention to God’s Word, does exactly what God says and regrets it, never!
 
Everyone who has gotten in trouble in this life has done so by deliberate or ignorant neglect of God’s Word and in several cases, they have paid dearly for it, sometimes with their lives.
 
No matter how stubborn or hard hearted or evil minded a person is, it is only God’s Word that can arrest and transform the person.
 
No matter how occultic or satan-involved a person is, God’s Word is the only weapon that can stop him or her in their track.
 
No matter how rotten a person’s heart is, evidenced by the foul or vulgar words he or she speaks, God’s Word would arrest, clean and transform the individual into a calm, mature and respectful individual.
 
 The reason is because God’s Word contains God’s Spirit and Divine Life. God’s Word is fire to consume all that cannot endure the test and a hammer that breaks in pieces the rock of most stubborn resistance – Jeremiah 23:29.
 
Therefore, a person joined to Christ Jesus becomes a new creation spiritually; old things have passed away and all things have become new.
 
Someone may ask, what about the newly born-again Christian who still struggles with sinful habits every now and then? Again, it is the milk of God’s Word required to nourish the person’s soul to spiritual maturity, just as physical food nourishes a baby to physical maturity.
 
Without a constant feeding on the spiritual food that is God’s Word, the person cannot grow and would remain stunted spiritually and struggle with sin.
 
As long as the person is spiritually stunted by lack of spiritual food of God’s Word, the devil capitalizes on the person’s ignorance of his or her rights and has a field day afflicting the person and creating hardships aimed at discouraging the person to lose faith in God, backslide and revert to sinful habits.
 
On the other hand, constant, daily consumption of the spiritual food of God’s Word builds the person to:
 
(1)  know his or her rights in Christ Jesus and how to exercise them in the Name of Jesus Christ
 
(2)  successfully use the same Word of God to resist and overcome every negative device the devil, demons and their human agents throw at him or her
 
(3)  live in God’s Truth, Holiness and Righteousness to qualify to enter heaven at death or at Rapture when Jesus comes for His saints shortly.
 
Take note, dear friend that every resistance or problem you face in life is caused either directly or indirectly by the devil, demons and their human agents. Their resistance is principally in 3 ways, which are sickness, poverty and spiritual affliction.
 
However, God’s Word successfully breaks every such resistance every single time it is deployed against demonic resistance. This is why God’s Word is called the Sword of the Spirit – Ephesians 6:17b.
 
The devil knows this and so he does all within his power to make sure human beings and particularly Christians are not aware of the power they have over every negative unpleasant circumstance of life using God’s Word.
 
You would therefore be doing yourself a great disservice where you fail to make a daily study and meditation in the Word of God.
 
Are you a Christian? Is there a problem you have? Look for the answer in God’s Word, believe the Word, speak that same Word over the situation, thank God in prayer, worship Him and watch that problem disappear no matter what it is.
 
If you fail to do this as a Christian, the devil will always take advantage of your ignorance of your rights as God’s child and defeat you in every area of life.
 
Are you a non-Christian? It is only through God’s Word in the Holy Bible that you can attain salvation to overcome the issues of this life.
 
Jesus Christ has done the work for you FREE of charge.
 
All He is asking is that you repent genuinely of sin, confess to God and forsake sin, acknowledge and accept Him (Jesus Christ) as your Saviour and Messiah, commit in word and deed to follow Him uncompromisingly and watch your life take a turn for the best.
 
If you fail to do this as a non-Christian, you will always struggle through life and eventually end up in eternal damnation if you die without Christ, God forbid.
 
Jesus’ coming for His children in the Rapture is imminent. Are you His child or are you born again? Are you ready for Him?
 
Come to Jesus Christ the Word of God today and now, for tomorrow or later may be too late for you.
 
May the good Lord bless you as you heed His Word today, act on it and share with others in Jesus’ Most Powerful Name, Amen.

HOW DO YOU CONTROL VIOLENCE IN PEOPLE?

Hebrews 12:14 (AMPC)  “ Strive to live in peace with everybody and pursue that consecration  and holiness without which no one will [ever] see the Lord.”   Dear people of God, I read sometime in December 2019 ago of a police inspector in Nigeria who shot and killed his colleague, a corporal, and the same shot injured another colleague, a deputy Superintendent of police after which the police inspector took his own life.   What could have led to such violence?   I also read of another unfortunate story of a lady killed December 25, 2019, Christmas Day, by her husband who had beaten her to a coma and then ran away after discovering what he had done. GOD CANNOT VIOLATE HIS WORD

  Psalm 89:34  “My covenant I will not violate, nor will I alter the utterance of My lips.” Dear people of God, today’s lead Bible text in Psalm 89:34 is a profound statement by God Almighty and Father of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. What this statement from God means is that there is nothing He has said in His Word that He will fail to perform.
