SADISTS AND SADISM

 Proverbs 6:16-19 (AMPC)
“These six things the Lord hates, indeed, seven are an abomination to Him:
 
17 A proud look [the spirit that makes one overestimate himself and underestimate others], a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, [Ps. 120:2, 3.]
 
18 A heart that manufactures wicked thoughts and plans, feet that are swift in running to evil,
 
19 A false witness who breathes out lies [even under oath], and he who sows discord among his brethren.”
 
 
Dear people of God, the online dictionary defines sadism as “the tendency to derive pleasure, especially sexual gratification, from inflicting pain, suffering, or humiliation on others.”
 
A sadist is also defined as a person who takes pleasure in inflicting pain, punishment, or humiliation on others.
 
According to medicinenet.com some of the typical characteristics that a person with a sadistic personality has are:
 
·       They enjoy seeing people hurt.
·       They enjoy inflicting pain on others.
·       They cherish the idea of others being in pain.
·       They think it is alright to cause others pain.
·       They fantasize about hurting others.
  • They like to humiliate others to keep them in line.
  • They may ask their partners to submit to various forms of sexual acts, such as bondage, gagging, slapping, hair pulling, choking.
  • Their bullying may take several forms.
All over today’s societies, we see sadism and sadists at work inflicting pain on others without caring a hoot about their feelings.
 
You see cultists in universities shooting their fellow students and using machetes/axes to cut and knives to stab them.
 
You see government officials in charge of traffic on the roads setting traps for motorists, seizing their vehicles and extorting money from them in the name of revenue drive.
 
You see government officials stealing the nation’s commonwealth for themselves and their families and depriving the majority of the populace the basic rights and access to resources that makes for a better living.
 
How do these people sleep at night with such wicked acts they inflict on others?
 
You see relatives of a deceased individual evicting their late sibling’s spouse and children to take over their properties.
 
You see bosses in the office scheme to sack their subordinates who have refused their sexual advances or refused to join them to defraud the organization.
 
You see lecturers of Universities deliberately failing their students who have declined their sexual advances or who have refused to bribe them.
 
You see ritualists abduct innocent victims to snuff out their lives all in a bid to make money through occultism.
 
You see military officers round up innocent members of a community to rape the women and young girls and murder the men.
 
There are many examples we can give but I have chosen these few for anyone reading to relate to this and repent of sin and evil before it is too late.
 
No human being with the Spirit of God engages in sadism because their human spirits have been recreated by Christ Jesus and the demonic spirit of the devil cannot operate to make him or her inflict pain on others.
 
Note that you cannot obtain a God-recreated human spirit without genuine repentance for sin, believing and accepting Jesus Christ as the Son of God, the Saviour and Messiah of your life.
 
Jesus’ coming for His children in the Rapture is imminent. Are you His child or are you born again? Are you ready for Him?
 
Come to Jesus Christ the Word of God today and now, for tomorrow or later may be too late for you.
 
May the good Lord bless you as you heed His Word today, act on it and share with others in Jesus’ Most Holy Name, Amen.

HOW DO YOU CONTROL VIOLENCE IN PEOPLE?

Hebrews 12:14 (AMPC)  “ Strive to live in peace with everybody and pursue that consecration  and holiness without which no one will [ever] see the Lord.”   Dear people of God, I read sometime in December 2019 ago of a police inspector in Nigeria who shot and killed his colleague, a corporal, and the same shot injured another colleague, a deputy Superintendent of police after which the police inspector took his own life.   What could have led to such violence?   I also read of another unfortunate story of a lady killed December 25, 2019, Christmas Day, by her husband who had beaten her to a coma and then ran away after discovering what he had done. GOD CANNOT VIOLATE HIS WORD

  Psalm 89:34  “My covenant I will not violate, nor will I alter the utterance of My lips.” Dear people of God, today’s lead Bible text in Psalm 89:34 is a profound statement by God Almighty and Father of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. What this statement from God means is that there is nothing He has said in His Word that He will fail to perform. A sensible Christian who understands this will look for what God has said by careful, meditative study of God’s Word found only in the Holy Bible, thank God joyously for it, claim it and God will surely perform what His Word has stated.
