THE INDIVIDUAL WHO IS ASSURED OF GOD’S BLESSINGS

2 Kings 18:5-7a (AMPC)
“He (Hezekiah) trusted in the Lord God of Israel, so that after him was none like him among all the kings of Judah, nor who were before him. 
 
6For he held fast to the Lord; he did not depart from following Him, but kept His commandments, which the Lord had commanded Moses. 7The Lord was with him; he prospered wherever he went.”
 
Dear people of God, today’s reference Holy Bible text is about king Hezekiah of Judah described as completely loyal to God and His commands and he never deviated from following God amongst all the kings of Judah either before or after him.
 
Consequently, the Bible records that God was with him and he prospered wherever he went.
  
It is this same God I am writing about today.
 
 God’s principles are the same and never changes because He is Holy, Just and Righteous.
 
 There are many people who claim to be following God but are not loyal to Him. You can tell from their words and actions that they say and do things contrary to God’s Word but expect God to bless them the same way He blesses those who are totally loyal to Him.
 
Even with humans, people are happy with those who remain loyal to them and they reward their loyalists way above those who are less loyal or disloyal.
 
 It is no different with God Almighty because His principles never change.
 
You cannot claim to be God’s child and at the same time be living a hypocritical double life telling lies, cheating people, fighting, hating others, speaking evil and defaming others, causing resentment and division, harbouring unforgiveness and so on and so forth, which are actions contrary to God’s Holy commandments.
 
It is evident from today’s message that God’s blessing is assured for any individual who is completely loyal to him in every area of life. Your loyalty is evident in your uncompromising obedience to God’s Word in the Holy Bible in your thoughts, words, actions and reactions.
 
Life all over the world today has become so challenging spiritually, financially, medically, etc, that no person can afford to be without a Saviour and Divine Help. Again, there is no human being that can provide that help.
 
It is only Jesus Christ, the Saviour and Messiah of the entire Universe that can provide that help provided you become and remain His child by repenting genuinely of sin, confessing, and forsaking sin, accepting Him (Jesus) as your Lord and obeying His commands in the Holy Bible.
 
 Jesus’ coming for His children in the Rapture is imminent. Are you His child or are you born again? Are you ready for Him?
 
Come to Jesus Christ the Word of God today and now, for tomorrow or later may be too late for you.
 
May the good Lord bless you as you heed His Word today, act on it and share with others in Jesus’ Most Holy Name, Amen.

HOW DO YOU CONTROL VIOLENCE IN PEOPLE?

Hebrews 12:14 (AMPC)  “ Strive to live in peace with everybody and pursue that consecration  and holiness without which no one will [ever] see the Lord.”   Dear people of God, I read sometime in December 2019 ago of a police inspector in Nigeria who shot and killed his colleague, a corporal, and the same shot injured another colleague, a deputy Superintendent of police after which the police inspector took his own life.   What could have led to such violence?   I also read of another unfortunate story of a lady killed December 25, 2019, Christmas Day, by her husband who had beaten her to a coma and then ran away after discovering what he had done. GOD CANNOT VIOLATE HIS WORD

  Psalm 89:34  “My covenant I will not violate, nor will I alter the utterance of My lips.” Dear people of God, today’s lead Bible text in Psalm 89:34 is a profound statement by God Almighty and Father of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. What this statement from God means is that there is nothing He has said in His Word that He will fail to perform. A sensible Christian who understands this will look for what God has said by careful, meditative study of God’s Word found only in the Holy Bible, thank God joyously for it, claim it and God will surely perform what His Word has stated.
