GETTING IT RIGHT WITH THE LORD ALWAYS
1 John 2:25-27 (AMPC)
“And
this is what He Himself has promised us–the life, the eternal [life].
26 I
write this to you with reference to those who would deceive you [seduce and
lead you astray].
27 But
as for you, the anointing (the sacred appointment, the unction) which you
received from Him abides [permanently] in you; [so] then you have no need that
anyone should instruct you. But just as His anointing teaches you concerning
everything and is true and is no falsehood, so you must abide in (live in,
never depart from) Him [being rooted in Him, knit to Him], just as [His
anointing] has taught you [to do].”
Dear people of God, a born-again Christian as we are told today
receives an anointing of God’s Holy Spirit that abides permanently in him or
her and that anointing teaches the person concerning everything that is true
and without falsehood.
However, Christians are further instructed to abide in the Lord,
never to depart from Him, being rooted in Him, and knit to Him as His Spirit
has taught us to do.
The summary of this message as I have always stated by the Grace
of God is that you cannot do without God’s Word in the Holy Bible. For just as
you eat at least one meal a day for your physical and biological well-being, so
you must feed daily on God’s Word in study and meditation and action in simple
and uncompromising obedience for your spiritual well-being.
As long as you adhere to this simple instruction of God’s Word,
no demon or false preacher can lead you astray.
If on the other hand you fail to do this, however, be sure that the
devil and his human agents (false preachers) would deceive, seduce and lead you
astray with false teaching and you would definitely be the worse for it.
Jesus’ coming for His children in the
Rapture is imminent. Are you His child or are you born again? Are you ready for
Him?
Come to Jesus Christ the Word of God
today and now, for tomorrow or later may be too late for you.
May the good Lord bless you as you
heed His Word today, act on it and share with others in Jesus’ Most Holy Name,
Amen.
