IN PRAISE OF EVIL?

 Isaiah 5:20 (AMPC)

“Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter!”

 

Dear people of God, it is really amazing how people call evil good and good evil in these last days as God’s Word has made us understand.

 

The things people ought to be ashamed of nowadays is what is being celebrated openly with impunity.

 

When I was growing up as a kid years ago, it was strange to see kids carrying dreadlocks on their heads. Many parents were not happy having to see their kids born with such hair type because it was associated with evil spirits and they did all they could to conceal the hair from public view.

 

In fact, some parents took a bold step to cut off dreadlocks from their kids’ hair and this was done after intensive prayers so that the child would not fall sick or even die.

 

What do we now have these days? Boys and girls, men and women are competing to plait dreadlocks on their heads as fashion!!

 

Many years ago in Europe and North America, it was a shameful thing to openly declare oneself as a gay, lesbian or bi-sexual.

 

In today’s world in these same societies, not only have their governments legitimized homosexuality, lesbianism, bi-sexuality and transgenderism, we now have schools teaching their kids about another kind of marriage called same gender marriage!

 

Even humans are now getting married to animals and people are celebrating them openly because according to them, it is a free world where anyone can do what pleases him or her as long as nobody’s human rights is violated.

 

I even read a few years ago of a teenager who said she had been in love with her maternal first cousin and she was having carnal relations with him, and she was bold enough to post on social media photos of both of them kissing!

 

She went as far as saying it should not bother anyone who she sleeps with as it is her life and she is so happy to be in love with her first cousin.

 

Dear friend, regardless of what any nation’s government signs into law because of what their citizens have demanded, it should be clearly understood by everyone and anyone who cares to know that there is a God in Heaven Whose laws are superior to any other law in any nation of this world.

 

The God of Heaven I make reference to is the One Who created the Universe and all that is in it, including the people who are calling good evil and calling evil good.

 

The God of Heaven has a Book of Laws, Statutes and Commandments by which every living human being must abide. For those who are dead, their obedience to this Book of Laws is a determinant factor as to where they are now staying their eternity because there is a life after this one or life after death as some call it.

 

This Book of Laws is called the Holy Bible and it was written by humans under inspiration of God’s Holy Spirit. This therefore means that the information in the Holy Bible is incontestable and infallible because it is God’s message to all humans.

 

When God says in His Word in the Bible that something is right, no law created by humans can fault it or overturn it. When God says something is wrong, no human born of a woman can fault it because God’s Word is Law and is Final.

 

Dear friend, I admonish every one reading this message to get a copy of the Holy Bible, pray to God for guidance and understanding and then begin a diligent daily study of God’s Word therein beginning with the Gospel according to John.

 

When you study the Bible, you would discover what God says is right and what God says is wrong.

 

It would also be in your own interest to simply believe and obey what God has said because it is this same Book of God’s Laws, Statutes and Commandments by which every human living on this earth would be assessed when they pass on to eternity.

 

Please take this advice if you have been living a life of chance to believe that it is what you desire you can do.

 

There is nothing to gain and everything to lose for living a life of chance here on earth. On the other hand, there is nothing to lose and everything to gain when you take a firm decision to follow and obey God and His commandments in the Holy Bible.

 

You are not only assured of a victorious life here on earth, but you are also assured of an eternity in Heaven where the Lord Jesus Christ has built a home for each of His willing and obedient children.

 

Choose right today; choose life today; choose Jesus Christ today and now, for tomorrow or later may be too late for you.

 

May the good Lord bless you as you heed His Word this day, act on it and share with others in Jesus’ Most Righteous’ Name, Amen.
