BAD DEEDS AND GOOD DEEDS CANNOT BE HIDDEN

1 Timothy 5:24-25 (AMPC) 
“24 The sins of some men are conspicuous (openly evident to all eyes), going before them to the judgment [seat] and proclaiming their sentence in advance; but the sins of others appear later [following the offender to the bar of judgment and coming into view there].
 
25 So also, good deeds are evident and conspicuous, and even when they are not, they cannot remain hidden [indefinitely].”
 
Dear people of God, today’s lead Holy Bible text confirms to us that nothing can be hidden indefinitely.
 
Some people murder others, some commit adultery with another person’s husband or wife, some steal company funds, some steal church funds, some pastors sleep with their female members, some fathers sleep with their daughters, some guardians mess up their wards they should care for, some hide to watch pornography, some tell lies to cover up their deeds.
 
All these people believe no one sees them.
 
On the other hand, some preach the Gospel of Christ to lost souls, some visit those in prison, some visit the sick in the hospital, some feed the poor, clothe the naked, shelter the homeless, give help to the helpless and hope to the hopeless.
 
Some contribute their financial and human resources to the work of the Gospel all the time.
 
At times, they can be discouraged because it appears no one appreciates them.
 
However, the truth is, God sees all, knows all and has unlimited power to do all things. God sees what we do, He knows what we do and nothing is hidden from Him.
 
God has told us that the sins of some humans are open for all to see, the hidden sins of some humans follow them and become seen at judgement.
 
Also, every good deed whether seen or not would eventually be rewarded by God Himself.
 
Since nothing is hidden from God, of what use is it to do evil and believe no one sees? It is of no use.
 
It is however, of great significance to engage in virtuous acts that bring succour to humans and give glory to God.
 
May the good Lord bless you as you heed His Word today, act on it and share with others in Jesus’ Most Precious Name, Amen.
