“THEREFORE YOU have no excuse or defense or justification, O man, whoever you are who judges and condemns another. For in posing as judge and passing sentence on another, you condemn yourself, because you who judge are habitually practising the very same things [that you censure and denounce].
2 [But] we know that the judgment (adverse verdict, sentence) of God falls justly and in accordance with Truth upon those who practise such things.
3 And do you think or imagine, O man, when you judge and condemn those who practise such things and yet do them yourself, that you will escape God's judgment and elude His sentence and adverse verdict?
4 Or are you [so blind as to] trifle with and presume upon and despise and underestimate the wealth of His kindness and forbearance and long-suffering patience? Are you unmindful or actually ignorant [of the fact] that God's kindness is intended to lead you to repent (to change your mind and inner man to accept God's will)?
5 But by your callous stubbornness and impenitence of heart you are storing up wrath and indignation for yourself on the day of wrath and indignation, when God's righteous judgment (just doom) will be revealed.
6 For He will render to every man according to his works [justly, as his deeds deserve]: [Ps. 62:12.]
7 To those who by patient persistence in well-doing [springing from piety] seek [unseen but sure] glory and honour and [the eternal blessedness of] immortality, He will give eternal life.
8 But for those who are self-seeking and self-willed and disobedient to the Truth but responsive to wickedness, there will be indignation and wrath.”
Dear people of God, as a result of the financial difficulties people are experiencing, there are a number of people who profess Christianity with their mouths but they have no time for God because they are busy chasing money.
These same people lay the blame of their perceived misfortune at the doorstep of others apart from themselves – from the nation’s President to their relatives and so on and so forth.
At times they do this with so much vehemence that one would wonder if it is not the same God that created the universe that created them.
In extreme cases, some even blame God as they reason that God ought to know their present suffering and should therefore not turn a blind eye to them but should come to their aid.
In their mind, they believe the right step to take is to rebel against God and so they stop going to Church and justify their actions that they have to make ends meet by chasing money instead of chasing God.
God has said in His Word in Matthew 6:33 that you should FIRST chase His Kingdom and His righteousness and then He, God, would provide for you.
Now, God is principled and no respecter of persons – Romans 2:11. As a result, unless you obey His commandments, you should not expect Him to move in your favour.
It is that simple.
If you abandon God because you believe He has abandoned you, dear friend, you are on a wrong and dangerous path and you need to retrace your steps before it is too late.
Truth be told, no human being in this life can do without God. If you try it, then you are on a path that would end in eternal separation from God when you depart this world at death or when the Lord Jesus Christ comes to take His children at Rapture very, very soon.
Dear friend, come back to God if you have strayed away from Him. He is the ONLY being that has all the resources in this life to help you.
There is absolutely no reason to abandon God when He has given you His condition for helping you. Have you followed what God has said in His Word and it is still not working for you?
I know that God cannot lie and so the fault can NEVER be His. You have to look inwards and you have to ask God in prayer to show you what you are not doing right and what you need to do to access His blessings.
God would surely respond because He wants you to always be in His abiding presence in righteous living.
If you are yet to believe in the existence of God because of current difficulties you are experiencing this same advice is for you.
God is the solution to your problems. No human being can save you or help you.
Only Jesus Christ can save you because He is your Creator and He loves you with an everlasting love.
Try Jesus today and see what He can do. I know from personal experience that Jesus can NEVER fail.
