HAVING NO TIME FOR GOD

Mark 8:36-37 (AMPC) 
“For what does it profit a man to gain the whole world, and forfeit his life [in the eternal kingdom of God]?
 
37 For what can a man give as an exchange (a compensation, a ransom, in return) for his [blessed] life [in the eternal kingdom of God]?”
 
Dear people of God, the scourge of the coronavirus sweeping across China and other countries in the early months of the year 2020 was a stark reminder of the need for people to know God.
 
As of Tuesday February 11, 2020, it was reported that about 1,018 people mostly in China had died while over 40,000 people had been infected with another over 100,000 under medical observation.
 
In fact, in one day alone, it was reported that 109 people had died from the virus.
 
There was palpable fear amongst the citizens in many countries the world over.
 
Even in the United States, a citizen infected by the virus and outside of the country said she had received death threats not to come back home.
 
Even the doctor that first reported the menace of a virus in China unfortunately became infected and died on Saturday February 8, 2020.
 
What is most painful to me in all of these is the fact that majority of the Chinese population, about 97.47% or over 1 billion people are non-Christians.
 
What this means unfortunately, is that any one of those souls that died from coronavirus did not enter eternal life.
 
This is why the need to preach the Gospel in China and other non-Christian societies at this time is dire.
 
I can guarantee from my personal experience and experience of others that when the Gospel is preached in China and other non-Christian societies and people believe, accept, give their lives to the Lord Jesus Christ and begin to live in righteous obedience to God’s commandments in the Holy Bible, all they need to do is rebuke the coronavirus or any other infection in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ and the scourge would end.

The reason for this is simple, which is that Jesus Christ not only took away the sins of mankind but He also took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses and diseases on His body at the Cross of Calvary - Matthew 8:17; 1 Peter 2:24.
 
Dear friend, there is a limit to what medical science can do but there is no limit to what the Word of God in the Holy Bible can accomplish in ALL areas of a person's life.
 
Coronavirus like every other viral, bacterial and fungal infection is a spiritual problem caused by the devil and his demons either directly or indirectly.
 
It is only Jesus Christ, the Word of God, that can end this scourge, which He did at Calvary. The Chinese President, Government officials and citizens can listen to God’s Word, accept it, become born again and receive what belongs to all of God's children by right.
 
For anyone to die without Jesus Christ as his or her Lord and Saviour of their lives is suicidal. No matter what you have achieved in life, no matter your educational, political, financial, medical, marital status, it is simply suicidal to have a life without Jesus Christ, which is essentially living a life without God.
 
This should be a lesson to those who keep referring to countries that claim not to believe in God but appear to be making financial and economic progress. Coronavirus has shown that financial and economic progress in life cannot guarantee freedom from the afflictions of the devil.
 
Dear friend, today and now is the moment of decision. Send this message all over the world until it reaches China and all other non-Christian societies.
 
Every human being must come to Jesus Christ before there can be any peace in this world.
 
Any other option is simply an unfruitful waste of precious time.
 
May the good Lord bless you as you heed His Word today, act on it and share with others in Jesus’ Most Merciful Name, Amen.

HOW DO YOU CONTROL VIOLENCE IN PEOPLE?

Hebrews 12:14 (AMPC)  “ Strive to live in peace with everybody and pursue that consecration  and holiness without which no one will [ever] see the Lord.”   Dear people of God, I read sometime in December 2019 ago of a police inspector in Nigeria who shot and killed his colleague, a corporal, and the same shot injured another colleague, a deputy Superintendent of police after which the police inspector took his own life.   What could have led to such violence?   I also read of another unfortunate story of a lady killed December 25, 2019, Christmas Day, by her husband who had beaten her to a coma and then ran away after discovering what he had done. GOD CANNOT VIOLATE HIS WORD

  Psalm 89:34  “My covenant I will not violate, nor will I alter the utterance of My lips.” Dear people of God, today’s lead Bible text in Psalm 89:34 is a profound statement by God Almighty and Father of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
