“For everyone who calls upon the name of the Lord [invoking Him as Lord] will be saved. [Joel 2:32.]”
Dear people of God, it is amazing and sad how many people choose to discuss every other topic under the sun except spiritual matters or the Lord Jesus Christ.
Unfortunately, you also find this practice amongst Christians who are expected to be the light of Christ Jesus to a world darkened by ignorance and sin.
They are quick to discuss coronavirus, cancer, diabetes, other terminal ailments and how they are ravaging different parts of the world taking human lives whilst canvassing different solutions, but they won’t discuss Jesus Christ Who is the Ultimate Solution to all sicknesses and diseases, having taken away our sicknesses and diseases when He shed His precious blood for our sins on the Cross of Calvary – Matthew 8:17; 1 Peter 2:24.
They are quick to discuss the ravaging and heart rending insecurity around the world by terrorists, kidnappers, armed robbers, etc against hapless citizens but they fail to discuss Jesus Christ Who is the ONLY guarantee against insecurity – Psalm 91:9-10.
They are quick to discuss politics, politicians and their failed promises, but they shy away from discussing the One Who says when you seek His Kingdom and His righteousness, He will provide all your needs – Matthew 6:33- 34.
Dear friend, Jesus Christ our Lord once told someone that the way to quickly get out of your problems is not to discuss and magnify them because they are caused by the devil and you magnify the devil when you dwell on your problems.
The way out is to discuss Him, Jesus Christ, and His power to save and deliver you from all problems having done so at the Cross of Calvary. All Jesus expects is for you to believe what He did, receive it by faith, thank Him and it becomes yours.
How difficult is that? It is not difficult I can assure you.
Jesus says whoever and this means anyone who calls upon His Name invoking Him as Lord shall be saved.
When the world learns to talk about Jesus Christ, then all problems would be solved because Jesus is the Saviour of the world, the Messiah.
Whether people like it or not, whether people believe it or not, Jesus Christ is coming a second time very shortly into this world and then it would become clear to the whole world that the most important discussion to have today and now is about Jesus Christ.
I have had peace and joy since the day I made Jesus Christ my Lord and Saviour. Do the same today and it shall be well with you.
When you have Jesus Christ as your cardinal focus, there is absolutely nothing to fear.
