“So call to mind the lessons you received and heard; continually lay them to heart and obey them, and repent. In case you will not rouse yourselves and keep awake and watch, I will come upon you like a thief, and you will not know or suspect at what hour I will come.”
Dear people of God, the world shut down in 2020 from so many unimportant and ungodly activities as a result of the scare occasioned by the coronavirus pandemic or plandemic as we have come to know it.
However, Heaven never suspended its all-important program of Jesus’ imminent return to earth to take away the saints who are ready and qualified for the Rapture.
Indeed, no force in hell can stop Heaven’s program. The devil and his agents know this and that is why they continue to marshal out ungodly programs that are meant to cause distractions to the world and Christians inclusive, one of which is the covid-19 pandemic.
Dear friend, as you were forced to stay at home as a so called measure to contain the spread of the coronavirus, recall that God has said the saints should not forsake the gathering of the assembly or church as is the manner of some – Hebrews 10:25.
That period, therefore, was not a time to relax from spiritual activities because governments had told churches to shut down.
it was rather a time to reflect deeply on your relationship with God, to examine God’s Word carefully and measure its standards against your current lifestyle and repent immediately where you have erred and return to God with a sincere and obedient heart.
it wasn't a time to engage in unspiritual frivolities and entertainment.
You were expected to be a member of a Church where God is worshipped in Spirit and in Truth and connect online to the weekly and Sunday activities so you are part of the Corporate prayer that ensures the Word of God goes round as God has commanded in Mark 16:15.
You were expected to send invites of your church’s online programs to your family members, neighbours, friends, acquaintances, etc so that they could hear the Truth of God’s Word and come to know Jesus Christ, repent sincerely and accept Jesus as their Saviour and Lord.
Dear friend, do not allow the devil to distract you.
Focus on God and you can be sure that no demon can throw coronavirus or any other ailment on you as a child of God. Study God’s Word, meditate on it and listen for God to speak to you through your spirit and through the Holy Bible.
For your financial and material needs, you can be sure God would provide for you as long as you obey His Word to seek FIRST His kingdom and His righteousness – Matthew 6:33.
You can also engage in Evangelism in your neighbourhood so that you keep the fire of the Gospel burning. Be sure that God will confirm His Word to your listeners as you do this.
Share the Gospel online as well so that those who have abandoned God and are struggling to grapple with the realities of today’s situation would repent and come back to God Who ALONE can and would save any situation once they call upon Him.
Jesus Christ is coming. Don’t let Him catch you unprepared because of worldly pleasures and distractions. Live in righteous obedience to God’s commands in the Holy Bible.
May the good Lord bless you as you heed His Word today, act on it and share with others in Jesus’ Most Righteous Name, Amen.
