JESUS IS LOOKING FOR YOU

Revelation 3:20 (AMPC)
 “Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears and listens to and heeds My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and will eat with him, and he [will eat] with Me.”
 
Dear people of God, see what my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ is saying to you in today’s lead Scripture.
 
There are very many people who say they don’t need Jesus. As far as they are concerned, they are free to live their lives the way they choose and so nobody should bother them with any Gospel message about Repentance, Salvation, Prayer, Church, Eternity, Heaven, Hell, Righteousness, Holiness, etc.
 
For this set of people, they want to go to night clubs, drink alcohol, chase the opposite gender whether they are married or not to commit fornication and adultery, watch immoral movies, crack immoral jokes, read immoral literature, etc.
 
There are a second set of people who speak of a different Jesus from what God’s Word in the Bible tells us and yet they claim their own Jesus is the real one. There is only Jesus and that is the Jesus according to the Bible, the infallible Word of God.
 
The Jesus of the Bible has a Divine Nature (100% God) and a human nature (100% man) whilst He was here on earth – John 1:1,14.
 
The Jesus of the Bible is the Messiah, the Son of God, the Redeemer Who shed His precious blood and gave His life for the sins of mankind to reconcile us to God – Hebrews 1:3.
 
There are another group of people who claim to be Christians and claim to be following Jesus as His disciples but whenever Jesus looks back on the narrow way to Heaven where He is leading His genuine followers, He cannot find this group anywhere.
 
The reason Jesus cannot find them behind Him on the narrow way to Heaven is because they have followed and are still following the broad road of sin and unrighteousness that leads to eternal destruction if they fail to repent and retrace their steps back to Jesus Christ.
 
This category of people claim discipleship of Jesus Christ but they break traffic laws, offer bribes to law enforcement agents, cheat others in business and say Church is church and business is business, harbour unforgiveness, malice, resentment, ethnicity, race, strife, anger, party spirit, create division, etc.
 
Whichever of this 3 categories of persons stated above that you belong to, just know today that Jesus Christ is looking for you.
 
Yes, Jesus is looking for you because He loves you and wants you to come out of the broad way of sin, ignorance of sin and the devil’s snare and come into the narrow way with Him (Jesus) where He is leading genuine people, Christians, to heaven.
 
Jesus Christ is standing at the door of your heart and life spiritually and physically knocking for you to open and allow Him to come in to become Lord and Saviour of your life.
 
Jesus is knocking through various means, through His Word in the Bible, media broadcasts of Gospel programs through cable television, internet, social media, door to door evangelism, dreams and visions, Gospel Crusades, etc.
 
Jesus is seriously and patiently waiting for you to respond to His invitation. You simply cannot afford to decline it because there are major and eternal consequences for doing such.
 
Every day you are alive is an opportunity God is giving you to act and respond to His invitation into the narrow Way that leads to Heaven.
 
Jesus Christ is the ONLY Way that leads to eternal life and there is no other way to reach God except through Jesus Christ – John 14:6.
 
Dear friend, come today and now to Jesus Christ before it is too late.
 
Jesus Christ is coming now. Are you ready to receive Him?
 
May the good Lord bless you as you heed His Word today, act on it and share with others in Jesus’ Most Merciful Name, Amen.

HOW DO YOU CONTROL VIOLENCE IN PEOPLE?

Hebrews 12:14 (AMPC)  “ Strive to live in peace with everybody and pursue that consecration  and holiness without which no one will [ever] see the Lord.”   Dear people of God, I read sometime in December 2019 ago of a police inspector in Nigeria who shot and killed his colleague, a corporal, and the same shot injured another colleague, a deputy Superintendent of police after which the police inspector took his own life.   What could have led to such violence?   I also read of another unfortunate story of a lady killed December 25, 2019, Christmas Day, by her husband who had beaten her to a coma and then ran away after discovering what he had done. GOD CANNOT VIOLATE HIS WORD

  Psalm 89:34  “My covenant I will not violate, nor will I alter the utterance of My lips.” Dear people of God, today’s lead Bible text in Psalm 89:34 is a profound statement by God Almighty and Father of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. What this statement from God means is that there is nothing He has said in His Word that He will fail to perform.
