THE WISEST OF MEN ARE FOUND IN THE CHURCH

 Proverbs 1:22,29-33 (AMPC)
“22 How long, O simple ones [open to evil], will you love being simple? And the scoffers delight in scoffing and [self-confident] fools hate knowledge?
 
29 Because they hated knowledge and did not choose the reverent and worshipful fear of the Lord, [Prov. 8:13.]
 
30 Would accept none of my counsel, and despised all my reproof,
 
31 Therefore shall they eat of the fruit of their own way and be satiated with their own devices.
 
32 For the backsliding of the simple shall slay them, and the careless ease of [self-confident] fools shall destroy them. [Isa. 32:6.]
 
33 But whoso hearkens to me [Wisdom] shall dwell securely and in confident trust and shall be quiet, without fear or dread of evil.”
 
Dear people of God, I see on social media these days many messages from scoffers and mockers making fun of preachers of the Gospel.
 
For many of these ones, religion is the cause of the world’s problems. For them, the preachers of the Gospel are businessmen deceiving their members and extorting money from them.
 
For these set of individuals, it does not make any sense to submit to a spiritual authority because they (mockers) have gone to a formal school (where they themselves submitted to their teachers) and received formal certificates.
 
In the evening of September 1, 2020, I saw a video testimony on the internet of a former atheist now a Christian (I thank God Almighty and Father of my Saviour and Lord Jesus Christ for saving this once lost soul) who once mocked God, told lies, was rebellious and disobedient to his parents at home and just decided to have nothing to do with God.
 
One day, while enjoying his sinful pleasure from taking narcotics, he died and to his surprise, he discovered there is a spiritual realm, for his spirit left his body at death and then he met the Lord Jesus Christ briefly, Who after a while left him alone.
 
Suddenly, one by one, he started seeing eyes of demons open in the darkness and they began to torture him, which caused him the most unimaginable pain because according to his personal experience, things are magnified more in the spirit realm that this physical realm.
 
Worthy of mention is the fact that the demons began to remind him of all the sins he had committed whilst he was here on earth as they were torturing him, and telling him that he was to be there forever.
 
He said he began to shout the Name of Jesus, asking Him to show mercy and save him. After a while, the demons disappeared and then Jesus appeared and took him out of that terrible place (outer darkness of HELL) and allowed him to come back into this world.
 
According to him, he said he tried much to block the experience in his mind but he just could not and often found himself sobbing immensely over the terribly nasty experience.
 
At times, he couldn’t sleep because those demons come around to mock him and are very upset that Jesus saved him out of that terrible place. He said it is when he starts reading the Psalms in the Holy Bible that the demons leave.
 
It took him almost 2 years to finally come out to state his experience.
 
Good for him, he is now a born again Christian and he is so grateful to God for a second chance.
 
Dear friend, it is not every one who has the opportunity this fellow had.
 
There are many men out there who believe that only women and weak men attend Church while real men stay outside Church.
 
Today’s lead Holy Bible text says otherwise. It is the wisest of men who attend Church and who diligently seek and crave the Divine Presence of God Almighty.
 
God says only those who hearken to His command in the Bible shall dwell securely and in confident trust and shall be quiet, without fear or dread of evil.
 
It is the wisest of men who have rejected the devil and sin, repented, confessed sin to God, accepted Jesus Christ as Saviour and Lord of their lives and are now living in strict compliance with God’s commands.
 
It is the wisest of men who, having known the Truth of Repentance and Salvation found only in Jesus Christ, take this same message in Evangelism to lost souls out there as a warning from God before it is too late for them.
 
It is the wisest of men who, from the resources God has given them from righteous labours, obey God by contributing firstfruits, tithes, offerings and donations to kingdom projects to take the Gospel to lost souls because they know God would reward them as He has promised in Malachi 3:10-12.
 
 On the other hand, unfortunately, the guaranteed fate of anyone who rejects God because he rejects the Gospel of Jesus Christ is eternal separation from God into eternal damnation in HELL with the devil and demons for whom it was originally prepared – Matthew 25:41.
 
Why would any sane person ever want to experience such? How many years are you going to spend here on earth compared to an eternity in the spirit world after you pass away?
 
Why allow yourself to be deceived by the devil, demons and their human agents into error and sin, only to die, crossover to the other world, a world without end, to discover that you are eternally separated from God into endless torture by the same demons who would mock you continuously?
 
Dear friend, there is nothing pleasant about this and I sincerely urge you to have a deep rethink, make up your mind to repent sincerely, accept Jesus Christ into your life as Saviour and Lord and obey His every command in the Holy Bible without any compromise.
 
Today and now, is the moment of decision, for tomorrow and later may be too late for you.
 
Jesus Christ is coming shortly to take ONLY those who are qualified according to His righteous standards in the Holy Bible.
 
Are you living a genuine life as His disciple? Are you ready for Him? Come to Jesus today, for tomorrow may be too late for you.
 
May the good Lord bless you as you heed His Word today, act on it and share with others in Jesus’ Most Righteous Name, Amen.
