THE QU’RAN LEADS A MUSLIM TO JESUS CHRIST AND CHRISTIANITY

Dear friend, I had wanted to share a different message today but I believe God lead me to this video clip I will share shortly. I had always told my muslim friends that if they just took time to study the qu’ran, it would lead them to Christianity. With the video clip I saw today, my God confirmed what I had always said. It is the testimony of a muslim cleric who studied the qu'ran, sought answers and was lead to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ and conversion to Christianity and of course, the usual persecution that comes with taking such bold steps for Christ as Jesus said would happen (Matthew 5:11-12; John 16:1-4). As expected too, it also contains the miraculous deliverance he experienced when he called on the Powerful name of Jesus Christ who has enabled him to be alive to give this testimony for the past 18  years. I don't want to say much. All I will say is watch, listen, research and confirm for yourself. Most importantly, please remember to share wi...

GOD'S LEADING AND MAN'S FREEWILL OF CHOICE

Dear friend, let us consider today's lead Bible text in Exodus 13:17-18, Then it came to pass, when Pharaoh had let the people go, that God did not lead them by way of the land of the Philistines, although that was near; for God said, “Lest perhaps the people change their minds when they see war, and return to Egypt.” 18 So God led the people around by way of the wilderness of the Red Sea. And the children of Israel went up in orderly ranks out of the land of Egypt. For those who know the story, this is about God Almighty leading His people of Israel out of the 430 years of living in Egypt (Exodus 12:40-41), the beginning of which they enjoyed when Joseph was second in command to  Pharaoh  the ruler until a time when a Pharaoh who did not know Joseph came into power and then the bondage of the Israelites in Egypt started (Exodus 1:8-14). In this lead Bible text, we observe two key things - first and most importantly, God's leading. God lead the Israelites ou...

FALSE PROPHETS AND THEIR FOLLOWERS

God's Word says in 1 Chronicles 16:22, "Do not touch my anointed ones, and do my prophets no harm." God's anointed nowadays is one who has repented of sin and evil, confessed to God, asked for forgiveness, accepted our Lord Jesus Christ as Saviour and lives an obedient life in strict compliance with God's Word. So if God says no one should touch His anointed nor harm His prophets, then Christians should count themselves fortunate. God's Word says in 2 Chronicles 20:20b, "Believe in the Lord your God, and you shall be established; believe His prophets, and you shall prosper.” God says clearly in Deuteronomy 18:20-22, "But the prophet who presumes to speak a word in My name, which I have not commanded him to speak, or who speaks in the name of other gods, that prophet shall die.’ 21And if you say in your heart, ‘How shall we know the word which the Lord has not spoken?’— 22when a prophet speaks in the name of the Lord, if the thin...

SERVING JESUS CHRIST MAY SEEM OPTIONAL ON EARTH BUT IS COMPULSORY TO ENTER HEAVEN

Dear friend, we are at a point in human history where our Lord and Saviour spoke about false prophets, false teachers and false messiahs with some claiming to be He, Jesus Christ. Jesus says in Matthew 24:4 “Take heed that no one deceives you. 5For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many." We are in that era because today we have many religions, many claims of doctrine and counter doctrines, many beliefs and many ideas but our Lord Jesus says in John 14:6, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me." The truth is, anyone can make any claim about being the spiritual messiah but we must all understand one vital point - Jesus Christ is the ONLY Person who made stunning claims and backed it up with outstanding miracles! Jesus says He is the Son of God and by that claim attested to His Divinity and made Himself equal with God the Father Almighty. The same Jesus Christ who says this whil...

IS YOUR TALENT YOUR MAKING OR GOD'S MAKING?

In this life we have people who are very talented in different endeavours - music, football, business, writing, singing, dancing, cooking, sports, etc. Many atimes some people use these talents to serve themselves only and for the sole purpose of making money. When the money eventually comes, they say they are self made. And with this money they begin to see themselves as demigods who can do and undo. They go on spending sprees, drinking, eating, and make merry with their friends and acquaintances.  Dear friend, there is nothing wrong with having a talent and there is nothing wrong in using the talent to earn a living. What is wrong is not using this same talent to serve God and acknowledge God as the One who gave the talent and Who deserves all the glory. Now, the question we ask at this point is, whose making is the talent, yours or God's? If you say it is God, you have spoken right and spoken well. If you say the talent is your making, then you have got it ...

GOD NEVER GIVES UP ON ANYONE

Dear friend, when our Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins some 1,981 years ago on the Cross of Calvary at Golgotha in Israel, He did it for everyone, regardless of race, religion, gender, social status, economic status, political status, level of education, etc. Jesus is our Creator as His Word, the Holy Bible tells us in John 1:3. He loves us so much that even when the first man and woman Adam and Eve disobeyed Him at the Garden of Eden, sinned and became disconnected from God, He still promised to redeem mankind (Gen. 3:15). He kept that promise when He came to earth as a human being and gave His precious life for mankind to reconcile us back to God the Father Almighty (Romans 5:10; 2 Cor. 5:18-19). Many people out there believe Jesus Christ is only for Christians. No! The Creator cannot be for only Christians because He has told Christians to go and share the Gospel or Good News of Repentance and Salvation with every creature (Mark 16:15). God's perfect will is...

GOD IS NOT A MAN (2)

Dear friend, in the first part of this article, we discussed the impartiality of God, the fact that God created everyone equal, treats everyone equal and will judge everyone regardless of political, economic or social status by the same standard in His Holy Word found in the Holy Bible ALONE. In essence, God does not assess people the way humans do (Isaiah 55:8-9). In today's post, we look at another aspect of God to which we must pay careful attention. Our God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ loves us so much that He wants everyone to have an intimate relationship with Him as our loving Father. In fact, it is this love that made God send His only begotten Son, our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ to the world to die once as a sacrifice for the sins of mankind and reconcile us back to God. This was necessary to destroy what satan or the devil had done at the beginning when he deceived Eve in the Garden of Eden to eat the fruit God commanded Adam and Eve not to eat...
