Dear friends, not many Christians understand that there are spirits behind all of the atrocities committed in today’s world by evil people. Nothing happens in the physical world without first having happened in the spirit realm. It is no surprise therefore when I tell people that worldly music that has lewd lyrics is ungodly and they start to argue that there is nothing wrong with worldly music. If you regularly watch horror movies, play violent games, listen to reggae, rap and rock music, read or watch pornographic materials, the spirits behind these items would take over the person. The devil is using subtle evil influences these days to deceive children and even their parents. I will give an example to buttress my point. Only recently my spouse told me of a child she saw with a funny looking wrist band and when she questioned the child on why she was wearing it, the innocent child said it was her cousin who gave it to her and that when the band is spoken to, it would grant the wish requested. My spouse then told the child that it is only Jesus that answers prayers and that she should only pray to Jesus and no one or nothing else. My spouse made up her mind to investigate the matter. When she saw the cousin in question, she was also wearing a similar wrist band and when queried, the child also said it was a good luck band which, when spoken to would grant the wish requested. When queried where she got the idea, she said it was from a book her parents gave her. Fortunately, the first child mentioned above was also there and immediately...

I may be wrong but I am yet to see any white Pentecostal Movement clergy man outside of the orthodox fold bearing the title of Bishop. All the ones I have seen so far have been men of African descent. So what is it about titles with some ministers of God? Does a title confer special preference from God on the clergyman using it? I once told my spouse that she should be wary of any preacher of the Gospel of Christ who emphasizes his titles when introducing himself. For instance you can see someone bearing Apostle Evangelist or Pastor Doctor or Pastor Professor before their names. The reason I told my spouse to be wary of such people is that they are more interested in honour from men than the work they claim God has called them to do. Dear friend, today, my spouse and I went on Evangelism to share the Gospel of Christ Jesus with people in our neighbourhood. We came across 3 young men and in the course of our discussion, one of them who says he reads the Holy Bible and other books out of curiosity asked a question that is the topic for today’s post. He asked if Jesus Christ rose from the dead, to which my spouse and I responded that if Jesus Christ did not rise from the dead, then we would be wasting our time sharing the Gospel with them. You see, the foundation of the Gospel message is that according to the Scriptures, the Lord Jesus Christ was to die and rise again after 3 days.
