ENEMIES OF GOD AND PERSONAL HUMAN ENEMIES

Dear friend, there is a need to distinguish between enemies of God and human personal enemies.

This is necessary because most Christians don't know the difference and so they do not know how to pray properly against enemies of God and to pray for their personal human enemies as Jesus Christ our Lord has commanded (Matthew 5:43-48).

Anyone who TRIES to obstruct God's will, directive or plan automatically becomes God's enemy.

Notice I used the word "tries" because there is absolutely no one that can successfully obstruct or hinder God from accomplishing His righteous purposes.

All Authority and Power belongs to God Almighty and so it is futile to try to obstruct God's plan, will or directive. 

The first and most known enemy of God is satan and demons. This is because satan and a third of fallen angels (now demons) had foolishly thought they could overthrow God their Creator and so God threw them out of heaven and they are condemned to hell forever and at the appropriate them, they will suffer eternal punishment for their rebellion (Revelation 20:10).

Another known enemy of God is Pharaoh of Egypt who tried to prevent the Israelites from leaving Egypt to go to Canaan land to worship God as He had commanded.

When God showed Pharaoh His mighty power including the death of all first born Egyptian sons and animals, he (Pharaoh) succumbed and allowed the Israelites to go.

Then Pharaoh changed his mind and pursued after the Israelites (Exodus 5-12).

Eventually, Pharaoh and his Egyptian army paid the supreme price with their lives for becoming enemies of God (Exodus 14).

Israel's first king, Saul, became God's enemy by disobedience to a directive by God to completely destroy the Amalekites who had tried to hinder the Israelites from crossing their territory.

This act of disobedience caused Saul his kingdom (1 Samuel 15:1-26) and God's spirit departed from him  and an evil spirit took over to torment him every now and then (1 Samuel 16:14).

In today's world, we see people who try to use diabolic, occultic and satanic powers to prevent Christians from organizing Christian programmes aimed at converting sinners from darkness into the Light of Jesus Christ through the power of the Holy Spirit when they believe and accept the Word of God.

Anyone or group that does this is trying to obstruct God and becomes an enemy of God because it is the will of God that no soul should perish but that all sinful souls should repent and turn to God via our Lord Jesus Christ (2 Peter 3:9).

The same applies to any Government that deliberately refuses to give approval for a group of Christians to build a Church where people will come to worship God.

Such Government automatically becomes an enemy of God and will not last for trying to obstruct the will of God for the Gospel message to be preached all over the world (Matthew 28:18-20).

We are beginning to see such examples in United States of America where the government has outlawed prayer or the mention of the Most powerful name of Jesus Christ in public and government buildings.

What is interesting is that these same people claim there is no God and that Jesus Christ is not real, so why are they afraid of what they claim is not real? It only confirms the fact that Jesus Christ is very real, is the Messiah and is our God!

This is clearly the work of satan in the minds and actions of such governments.

This is also why we see such governments passing laws that directly offend God’s commands in the Holy Bible, e.g. abortion (murder), homosexuality, lesbianism, transgender or bisexual.

Any person(s) that pass such laws have become God’s enemies.

We also see Islamic fundamentalists specifically targeting and killing Christians -  Boko Haram in Nigeria, Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) in Iraq, etc.

These have all constituted themselves to be enemies of God in trying to prevent the Gospel of Christ Jesus from being preached to the world, and they will pay dearly for choosing to make themselves into God's enemies.

Even a preacher of the Gospel can become God's enemy by either preaching false doctrines or deliberately falsifying God's Holy Word in the Holy Bible with intent to mislead or deceive others (1 Timothy 4:1-2).

For instance, someone or a group of people preaching that there is no HELL FIRE when the Holy Bible clearly talks about Hell in several Scriptures (Revelation 21:8; Matthew 13:47-50; Matthew 25:41-46; 2 Thessalonians 1:7-9), or that payment of tithes is not compulsory for Christians when it is needed to spread the Gospel as Jesus commanded in Matthew 28:18-20.

Even God says there is a curse on anyone who refuses to pay tithes (Malachi 3:8-9) and of course, anyone whom God curses automatically becomes God's enemy.

Another misleading doctrine is one in which a preacher of the Gospel teaches that God allows divorce and quotes Matthew 19:9 when God says He hates divorce and calls it a cruel thing and that it covers one's garment with violence (Malachi 2:15-16).

In Matthew 19:9, the Lord Jesus Christ is talking about an incestuous relationship between siblings or first, second or third cousins as contained in the original Hebrew script of the Holy Bible. I have dealt with this issue in one of my previous posts that you can see HERE.

Two wrong doctrines that can turn one into God’s enemy is teaching that there is no Trinity (God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit) and teaching that Jesus Christ did not die on the Cross of Calvary and that God exchanged Him with someone else.

Dear friend, there are many ways one can become God's enemy, especially as it concerns living a sinful life even when one has been told about the Gospel Message of Jesus Christ of Salvation and Repentance.

God's Word says whoever is a child of God does not continue to sin because such sinful life is for children of the devil or satan (1 John 3:8-10).

We would therefore do well to avoid becoming enemies of God because the consequences are dire (1 Samuel 2:25a) both here on earth and even worse in the hereafter when the person would die and go spend eternity in HELL FIRE with satan and demons.

As the Holy Bible says in Hebrews 10:31, "It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God."

The only escape for an enemy of God is here on earth, by the person or group of persons repenting and giving their lives to Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour. If such persons die in that state of being God's enemies, they end up forever in HELL fire.

On the other hand, a human personal enemy is anyone, Christian or non-Christian who deliberately tries to cause pain or harm or physical or spiritual damage to a Christian.

These are the ones the Lord Jesus Christ says Christians should love and pray for (Matthew 5:43-48) because they are ignorant and if they die in such state they end up in hell forever with satan.

As Christians, Jesus commands us to forgive all who offend us because He, Jesus, first forgave our sins because even when mankind was God's enemies, our Lord Jesus came to die for us (Romans 5:8), destroyed what satan had done (1 John 3:8) and reconciled mankind to God (Colossians 1:20).

This sacrificial death of Jesus on the Cross of Calvary is the GREATEST event ever in the history of mankind and this is what we celebrate every year at Good Friday and Easter, for without the Cross, there is no salvation and no reconciliation of mankind to God.

Dear friend, having read and understood this message, you would do well to make up your mind, repent of sin and evil, give your life to Jesus Christ and obey all His commands in the Holy Bible.

Jesus Christ is coming NOW! He has told several people and He warns everyone to take the message seriously and also tell others about this important event.

Anyone who misses the chance to go with Jesus Christ during His second coming will blame himself or herself because Jesus loves us so much and wants us to be with Him forever in heaven.
