The current difficulties people face on a daily basis in this world could be quite distressing. From armed robbery to rape to murder to quarrels, fightings, bills to pay, children to raise, families to take care of, the list goes on and on. However, the Lord Jesus tells us in John 14:1, “  DO NOT let your hearts be troubled (distressed, agitated). You believe in  and adhere to  and trust in  and rely on God; believe in  and adhere to  and trust in  and rely also on Me. ” This advice from the Lord is quite simple but it also difficult for many to follow. Why is that? It is because people focus more on their problems than on the solution to their problems. Jeremiah 31:20 (AMPC) “Is Ephraim My dear son? Is he a darling child  and beloved? For as often as I speak against him, I do [earnestly] remember him still. Therefore, My affection is stirred  and My heart yearns for him; I will surely have mercy, pity,  and loving-kindness for him, says the Lord.” Dear people of God, I once heard a true story of a mother and her last child. This mother has 9 children but the last one gives her constant trouble most of the time. This mother is advanced in age and so is not as swift as she was in her younger days. There was a day she received a report that the military authorities had arrested a group of young men and her last child happens to be one of them. This mother became agitated and frantically left everything to go look for this last child who was in trouble. Whenever I contemplate the love of Jesus Christ for me, I feel elated. Whenever I speak about Him to others, I feel a sense of confidence and joy in my spirit. Why is this so, you may ask? Well, the reason is because over and over again in my life I have experienced the unfathomable love, joy and peace of knowing Jesus Christ. For you to have this same experience, you must study the Word of God, the Holy Bible, to know the Person of Jesus Christ. There is no other book written in this world that can give you a complete and accurate experience of Jesus like the Holy Bible. The more I study the Bible, the more excited I get.
