PROFESSING JESUS CHRIST ON EARTH WHILE HEADING FOR AN ETERNITY IN HELL

Galatians 6:7-8 (AMPC) “ Do not be deceived and deluded and misled; God will not allow Himself to be sneered at (scorned, disdained, or mocked by mere pretensions or professions, or by His precepts being set aside.) [He inevitably deludes himself who attempts to delude God.] For whatever a man sows, that and that only is what he will reap.   8 For he who sows to his own flesh (lower nature, sensuality) will from the flesh reap decay and ruin and destruction, but he who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life .”   Dear people of God, the Gospel of Christ Jesus is called Good News because it gives liberty to anyone who believes, accepts and does EXACTLY what it says.   The Gospel can also be a source of condemnation for anyone just as the Lord Jesus Christ warns in John 12:48 (AMPC), “ Anyone who rejects Me and persistently sets Me at naught, refusing to accept My teachings, has his judge [however]; for the [very] message...

RESISTING THE TRUTH

John 12:9-11 (AMPC) “Now a great many of the Jews knew that He was there; and they came, not for Jesus’ sake only, but that they might also see Lazarus, whom He had raised from the dead.  10 But the chief priests plotted to put Lazarus to death also,  11 because on account of him many of the Jews went away and believed in Jesus.”   Dear people of God, in today’s lead Holy Bible text above, we see the chief priests plotting to kill Lazarus because on account of the fact that the Lord Jesus Christ raised him from death after 4 days, many Jews came to believe in Jesus Christ.   Rather than appreciate God for the mighty works Jesus Christ was doing and acknowledging Jesus Christ as the Great Person that He was, the Pharisees were more interested in protecting their fame and legacy as Religious leaders of the day.   They were more than ready to discredit whatever Jesus was doing so that the Jews would pay attention to them and not to Jesus Christ.   As of t...

DEALING WITH MEDICAL PROBLEMS AS A CHRISTIAN

Hebrews 10:23 (KJV) “ Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for He is faithful that promised;)”   Dear people of God, doctors, nurses and every medical and support personnel are great people for the work they do.   God has granted them the grace, wisdom and talent for the work they undertake daily in saving lives, caring for the sick, aged and so on and so forth.   Whenever you come in contact with them, you should listen to what they say, take and implement their medical advice that is meant to help you.   That said, as Christians, we must also understand the Truth of God’s Word concerning ALL medical ailments as stated in:   Matthew 8:17 (KJV), “Himself (Jesus Christ) took our infirmities and bare our sicknesses.   1 Peter 2:24 (NKJV), “By Whose (Jesus’) stripe, you WERE healed.   Now, you need to take note that God’s Word as recorded in the Holy Bible is forever settled in heaven – Psalm 119:89.   T...

2021: WHAT A YEAR!

Psalm 18:2-3 (AMPC) “ The Lord is my Rock, my Fortress, and my Deliverer; my God, my keen and firm Strength in Whom I will trust and take refuge, my Shield, and the Horn of my salvation, my High Tower. [Heb. 2:13.]   3  I will call upon the Lord, Who is to be praised; so shall I be saved from my enemies.   Dear people of God, at the beginning of the year 2021, I told my spouse that this would turn out to be our best year ever.   Glory be to God Almighty and Father of my Saviour and Lord Jesus Christ Who fulfilled this declaration for us.   2021 also turned out to be a very interesting and tragic year for us. First of all, at some point, I took ill and almost lost my life but for the grace and mercy of God Who delivered me from the hands of satan the evil one through prayers of my spiritual, nuclear and biological families.   However, it was not so for at least 17 people I have known either personally or indirectly at different times and areas of m...

WALKING BY FAITH

2 Corinthians 5:7 (AMPC) " For we walk by faith [we regulate our lives and conduct ourselves by our conviction or belief respecting man's relationship to God and divine things, with trust and holy fervor; thus we walk] not by sight or appearance.”   Dear people of God, there is a popular saying that “seeing is believing” and many choose this statement without realizing that it means walking by sight.   As Christians, we are called to walk by faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and His finished work on the Cross of Calvary for us.   God has made it clear that nobody can please Him except the person walks by faith in Him, believes He exists and is a rewarder of anyone who diligently seeks Him – Hebrews 11:6.   It is when we diligently seek God by faith that we would become more intimately aware of His great power and how to appropriate it in our daily lives for our spiritual and material benefits.   Speaking about our Messiah Jesus Christ, we are told in 1 Peter 1...

THE BEST THINGS IN LIFE ARE FREE

John 3:16 (AMPC)   “ For God so greatly loved and dearly prized the world that He [even] gave up His only begotten (unique) Son, so that whoever believes in (trusts in, clings to, relies on) Him shall not perish (come to destruction, be lost) but have eternal (everlasting) life.”   Dear people of God, society tells us that nothing in this life is free and even free things have been paid for by someone or some group.   What is the greatest need of humans?   According to humans, it is food, shelter and clothing. In today’s world, security, health and healing have become major needs for billions of people.   All over the world, people are dying in their numbers from the wicked and ungodly acts of others as well as from sicknesses and diseases, both curable and incurable.   For God Almighty and Father of my Saviour and Lord, all humans’ major need is eternal life.   What is eternal life?   Eternal life is the Divine life that only God can give s...

PASTORS AND MEN OF GOD

1 Timothy 3:1-7 (AMPC)   “ THE SAYING is true and irrefutable: If any man [eagerly] seeks the office of bishop (superintendent, overseer), he desires an excellent task (work).   2 Now a bishop (superintendent, overseer) must give no grounds for accusation but must be above reproach, the husband of one wife, circumspect and temperate and self-controlled; [he must be] sensible and well behaved and dignified and lead an orderly (disciplined) life; [he must be] hospitable [showing love for and being a friend to the believers, especially strangers or foreigners, and be] a capable and qualified teacher,   3 Not given to wine, not combative but gentle and considerate, not quarrelsome but forbearing and peaceable, and not a lover of money [insatiable for wealth and ready to obtain it by questionable means].   4 He must rule his own household well, keeping his children under control, with true dignity, commandin...
