  Proverbs 4:20-22 (AMPC) “ My son, attend to my words; consent and submit to my sayings.   21 Let them not depart from your sight; keep them in the center of your heart.   22 For they are life to those who find them, healing, and health to all their flesh.”   Dear people of God, the beauty of God’s Word is amazing. Every born-again Christian heard God’s Word preached, became convicted, repented of sin, and submitted to the Lordship of Jesus Christ as Saviour and Messiah.   God tells every one of His children in today’s lead Holy Bible text above to consent and submit to His Word, to never let His Word depart from their sight, to keep His Word in the center of their heart.   God goes ahead to state why His children should take to this simple instruction, which is that His Word is life to those who find them, healing and health to all their flesh.   This is a simple but profound statement.   There is nobody who pays attention to...

Luke 12:15 (AMPC) “ And He (Jesus Christ) said to them, Guard yourselves and keep free from all covetousness (the immoderate desire for wealth, the greedy longing to have more); for a man's life does not consist in and is not derived from possessing overflowing abundance or that which is over and above his needs.”   Dear people of God, there is nowhere in the Holy Bible God condemns wealth or riches because the wealth of the world belongs to God and He created it for humans as confirmed in Genesis 1:28-31 and Proverbs 10:22.   What the Word of God condemns is the love of money and covetousness. The issue of love of money was addressed in the first part of this post.   As for covetousness, it means an  inordinate desire for wealth or possessions or for another's possessions .
