1 Peter 4:3-5 (GNBK) “ You have spent enough time in the past doing what the heathen like to do. Your lives were spent in indecency, lust, drunkenness, orgies, drinking parties, and the disgusting worship of idols.    4 And now the heathen are surprised when you do not join them in the same wild and reckless living, and so they insult you.    5 But they will have to give an account of themselves to God, Who is ready to judge the living and the dead.”    Dear people of God, when anyone encounters Jesus, believes, repents genuinely and accepts Jesus Christ as Saviour and Lord of his life, a new Spirit takes over the person as he becomes a new creation in Jesus Christ – 2 Corinthians 5:17.   However, because the person is still a baby Christian, the devil makes an effort using the new Christian’s friends to try to pull him back into a previous lifestyle of sin and immorality.   When the new Christian refuses to join his former friends in their reckle...

[I will ease and relieve and refresh your souls.]   29 Take My yoke upon you and learn of Me, for I am gentle (meek) and humble (lowly) in heart, and you will find rest (relief and ease and refreshment and recreation and blessed quiet) for your souls.”   Dear people of God, a friend of mine told me a true story his brother told him of a lady working in the same multi-national corporation (well known) with him.   This lady was a senior executive and one day she invited my friend’s brother’s boss and other ladies to a meeting. Revelation 3:20 (AMPC)   “ Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears  and listens to  and heeds My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and will eat with him, and he [will eat] with Me.”   Dear people of God, see what my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ is saying to you in today’s lead Scripture.   There are very many people who say they don’t need Jesus.
