Of God and Mankind

Many people live in constant fear of the unknown – fear of danger, fear of poverty, fear of loneliness, fear of old age, fear of enemies, fear of the unknown, fear of rejection, fear of losing a job or business opportunity, fear of ill health, etc. There are Christians who also exhibit these fears ignorantly. God’s Word in the Holy Bible tells us in 2 Timothy 1:7, “ For God did not give us a spirit of timidity (of cowardice, of craven and cringing and fawning fear), but [He has given us a spirit] of power and of love and of calm   and well-balanced mind   and discipline   and self-control. ” Since God did not give us a spirit of fear, so where does that spirit come from? The devil of course! You must bind and cast out that spirit of fear now and today in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. So dear friend, why do you live in fear as a Christian when God has given you a spirit of power, love, calm, well balanced mind, discipline and self-control?...

In our quest for quick life and quick ways of doing things, we have adopted the microwave mentality to using the name of Jesus. Proverbs 22:6  "Train up a child in the way he should go [and in keeping with his individual gift or bent], and when he is old he will not depart from it." Dear people of God, today’s lead Holy Bible text looks simple and explanatory enough but sadly, only few parents are able to abide by it. The love parents have for their children makes them do so many ungodly things for these children in the belief that what they are doing is best for the child whereas they are destroying the child’s life and future. When evil people want to cast spells on someone, they use words to accomplish their purpose. We see one visible effect of their evil spells on mad or mentally challenged people. When a Christian prays, he uses words also and as long as the individual is in right standing with God and believes his prayer has been answered, he will have whatsoever he has prayed for. To be in right standing with God means to be living a life full of grace, righteousness and holiness according to God’s Word in the Holy Bible and not according to human standards or opinion. It means there is power in words and power in the tongue. The Word of God tells us in Proverbs 18:21, “ Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and they who indulge in it shall eat the fruit of it [for death or life].”   If you are in right standing with God, the only way you can counter a spell or evil influence is through prayer. In part one, we looked at how desperate individuals are cloning innocent people’s Facebook accounts using their photos to create new Facebook accounts and then going ahead to try to dupe and at times successfully dupe other unsuspecting members of the public using God’s name and giving false prophecies. We also examined the false teachings of agents of satan masquerading as preachers of the gospel, which the Bible talks about in 2 Corinthians 11:13-15 .
