However, there is no record in the Gospels where the Lord Jesus Christ referred a sick person to see a doctor. Matthew 13:44-45 “The kingdom of heaven is like a [very precious] treasure hidden in a field, which a man found and hid again; then in his joy he goes and sells all he has and buys that field [securing the treasure for himself]. 45 “Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant in search of fine pearls, 46 and upon finding a single pearl of great value, he went and sold all that he had and bought it.” Dear people of God, it does appear today’s topic and the Holy Bible passages are contradictory but they are not. What the Lord Jesus Christ is talking about is the value one should place on Heaven above everything else in this world. Jesus is talking about doing all you can within God’s grace to ensure you enter heaven because there is a great and terrible cost for anyone who would miss heaven at the end of his or her stay here on earth.
